French Import Art Deco era 17.00 Ctw. Old Cut Diamond Collar Necklace composed of platinum. Featuring 91 Old Cut diamonds, a combination of mainly Old Mine Cut diamonds with a few Old European diamonds towards the back weighing approximately 17.00 carats in total, with colors estimated to be J-K-L and clarities estimated to be VS2-SI2 (with a few I1 stones towards the back). The diamonds are set into individual square-shaped links with fine milgrain details, and the necklace has a slightly graduated design to it (measures approximately 5.7 mm wide at the front and 3.1 mm wide at back). Necklace weighs 29.07 grams; measures approximately 14 7/8″ long. With a push to close clasp and latch. With French Import hallmarks. Circa 1920.
