French Victorian era 1.40 Carat Old European Cut Diamond Cluster Engagement Ring composed of 18k yellow gold. Featuring a 1.40 carat Old European Cut diamond, GIA certified I color/SI1 clarity. The center diamond is surrounded by 10 Old Mine Cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.00 carat in total, ranging approximately I-J-K in color and SI1-I1 in clarity. The front of the ring measures approximately 12.6 mm tall by 13.2 mm wide; with split-shank at the shoulders and a knife-edge shank. Hallmarked for French origin. Circa 1890-1900.
