Vintage Diamond & Tsavorite Garnet Heart ‘Gimmel’ Ring composed of 18k yellow gold. Set with 18 Round Brilliant Cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.50 carats in total, as well as 23 green Tsavorite garnets weighing approximately 0.70 carats in total. This ring is composed of three separate bands that are connected at the back. Stones are set into the heart that slides open to reveal a plain gold heart on the center band, a design modeled after ‘gimmel’ style clasped hand rings seen during the Victorian era. Ring weighs 9 grams. Circa 1980’s.
