The locket opens to reveal a compartment where you can store a keepsake or photograph; the back of the locket is engraved with the initials 'P', 'R', \u0026amp; 'D'. The brooch measures approximately 2 3\/\" tall in total (the locket component measures 1 3\/8\" tall) by 1 1\/8\" wide, weighs 24.94 grams. Hallmarked for French origin.
