American Vintage Peruvian Warrior Pendant Necklace by La Triomphe, composed of 14k yellow gold on a 14k yellow gold chain. Depicting a warrior with an emerald, with 2 Single Cut diamond eyes and ruby accents. The pendant measures approximately 2 1/4″ in diameter; weighs 65.34 grams. American origin. Circa 1970’s.

On a 14k yellow gold rope chain that measures approximately 24 3/4″ long with a push to close clasp and latch; weighs 9.3 grams.

‘La Triomphe’ was the name given to a range of jewelry created by the American firm Astoria Jewelry Manufacturing Company of Long Island, New York, circa 1965. They created some wonderfully bold pieces over the next two decades, including rings, bracelets, and earrings — most often in yellow gold with colorful gemstones such as tourmaline, lapis lazuli, and emerald. While the name is no longer in use, the jewelry remains appreciated for its vibrant colors, strong designs, and vintage aesthetic.
