Portuguese Art Deco era 2.25 Ct. Oval Cut Amethyst Poison Ring composed of 18k yellow gold. With a 2.25 carat Oval Cut Amethyst set within an oval frame of 16 Rose Cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.10 carats in total. The top of the ring opens up to reveal a secret compartment where you can put a small picture or trinket of your choice. The setting has chased floral details throughout. Ring measures approximately 19.5 mm tall at the front; weighs 8.5 grams. Hallmarked for Portuguese origin, circa 1938, the ring was then exported to the UK.
