French Victorian era 0.60 Carat Old Mine Cut Diamond Starburst Oval Locket Necklace composed of 18k light rosy gold, on a 14k rose gold chain. With a 0.60 carat Old Mine Cut diamond set at the center of a 10-point starburst motif. The locket’s surface has a slightly brushed finish to the gold, while the starburst has a high polish. The pendant measures approximately 2″ tall (excluding the top bale) by 1″ wide; weighs 19 grams. With ornate details to the top and simple flower details to the bottom, as well as an interior original glass compartment. Hallmarked for French origin. Circa 1880-1890.

The locket comes on a contemporary 14k rose gold open bar-link gold chain that measures approximately 18″ long and weighs 4 grams; with a lobster clasp.
