Victorian era Rose Cut Diamond 'Circus Monkeys' Brooch composed of 9k gold and silver. These 2 monkeys feature 58 Rose Cut diamonds adorning the monkeys, weighing approximately 0.40 carats in total. with 2 natural pearls on the bar brooch, with 4 rubies set into the eyes. The lower monkey articulates freely from the chain that dangles from the top portion of the brooch. The brooch measures approximately 2 5/8" tall by 1 1/2" wide; weighs 7.1 grams. Circa 1860.
