Victorian era Diamond Griffin Pendant Necklace, composed of 14k yellow gold on a 14k yellow gold chain. The winged griffin is positioned wrapped alongside a sword, both are set with diamonds -- 13 stones consisting of Old Mine Cut and Old European Cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.43 carats in total; with a ruby set into the eye. The pendant measures approximately 1" tall by 1 3/8" wide; weighs 5.07 grams. Converted from a brooch to a pendant. Circa 1900.
The pendant comes on an Italian 14k gold cable-link chain necklace that is adjustable at 15.75", 16.75", & 17.75" lengths. With an O-ring clasp.
